The Intelligence Bureau (IB) is India's national intelligence bureau. The IB was recast as the Central Intelligence agency in the year of 1947 below the Ministry of "Home Affairs". The goal for the study may be because, in the year of 1885, MacGregor was selected Quartermaster head and General of the Intelligence Department for the Indian Army at Simla.

Shrouded in mystery, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) is managed to collect intelligence from within Asia/India and also perform counter-terrorism and counter-intelligence responsibilities. The Bureau comprises representatives from law enforcing companies, mostly from the IRS (Indian Revenue Service) or the IPS(Indian Police Service) and the Indian military.

However, the DIB (Director of Intelligence Bureau (IB)) has forever been an IPS director. In addition to national intelligence abilities, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) is especially tasked with intelligence gathering in border regions, following the year 1951 guidance of the North and North-East Border Committee, a task committed to the Indian military intelligence systems before liberation in the year 1947. All fields of human movement within Asia/India and in the area are allocated to the charter of services of the IB.
