Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), a government sector offering under the central limitation of the Ministry of Mines, was organized on 9th Nov 1967. It has the difference of being the nation’s only vertically combined copper manufacturing business as it makes copper right from the stage of opening to smelting, beneficiation, refining, and a cast of refined copper materials into downstream saleable goods.

The Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) Company exchanges copper wire bar, copper cathodes, constant cast copper bar and by-products, such as anode mud (silver, containing gold, etc.), sulphuric acid and copper sulfate. In common use, more than 89% of the traffic income is made from cathode & continuous cast copper bars/rods. In closed the business year 2016-17, as per temporary estimates, the Firm has made a net gain of Rs 61.94 crore upon a sales turnover of Rs.1216.94 crore.
